Dill Bread

An interesting change from the regular white or whole wheat bread, dill bread is a favourite in my family. It is delicious and easy to make. So tie on your apron and lets get started! Ingredients: 3 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. sugar 1 Tbsp. minced onion 1 tsp. yeast 1 1/2 Tbsp. dill 3/4 c. cottage cheese 3/4 c. water 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted In mixer, using dough hook, combine dry ingredients. Add water, butter, and cottage cheese. Knead until the dough cleans the sides of the bowl. Let rise for 1 hr. Punch down. Shape into loaves. Rise for 1/2 hr. Preheat oven to 340 F. Bake for 20-25 min. Hope you enjoy!

Hash Brown Casserole

An all new level of hash browns! Instead of those chunks of potatoes you fry up, those chunks of potatoes all creamy with chips on top and baked. Sound good? Tie on your apron and lets get started! Ingredient: 1/4 c. margarine, melted 3/4 c. chopped onions 1 can cream of mushroom soup salt & pepper to taste 1 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. cheddar cheese, grated 2 lb. frozen hash browns potato chips, crushed Preheat oven to 375 F. (💡Tip: If you have a convection oven preheat oven to 350 F convection.) Melt margarine in microwavable bowl. Mix onions, soup, salt and pepper, sour cream, and cheese. Mix in hash browns. Spread crushed chips evenly over hash browns and bake for 1 1/2 hr. or until chips are nicely browned. Hope you enjoy!

Shortbread Recipe

Do you have that one person in your house who just doesn't appreciate all the fancy cookies you get at Christmas? Do you have someone who asks if you can just make something simple? Would you like to try your hand at making simple yet delicious and stunning cookies? Well, then, Shortbread are for you! They are simple, fun, and beautiful. So tie on your apron and lets get started! Ingredients: 2 c. butter 1 c. sugar (1/2 brown 1/2 icing) 1/4 tsp. vanilla 4 c. flour (4 Tbsp. rice flour) Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla. Add flour in four portions, mix well in between each addition. Beat until fluffy. (the dough needs to be beaten very well so that it will go through the cookie press.) Use a cookie press to put onto pans. Bake at 350 F or 325 F convection for 8-10 minutes or until firm but not dark. Drizzle with white and chocolate chips. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
